Quality Assurance

Quality Built Into Every Stage

For Qari Technologies, quality assurance is not limited to inspecting a finished product before shipment. It begins with the approved product specification and continues through components, assembly, software, firmware, Islamic content, functionality, finishing, packaging and final inspection.

This is particularly important for Islamic electronic products, where the finished product is often a combination of physical hardware, electronics, programmed functionality and digital content. A device may be correctly assembled but still require verification of its audio, firmware, content navigation or interactive functions before it is ready for the market.

Our manufacturing operations in China therefore incorporate quality assurance and quality-control checks throughout the production process, with testing requirements adapted according to the product and its functionality.

For customized OEM, ODM and private-label products, quality checks are also carried out against the approved customer specification and reference sample.

Approved Sample as the Production Standard

Establishing the Reference Before Production

Before commercial production of a new or customized product, the approved configuration establishes the reference against which production is evaluated.

Depending on the project, this reference may define:

Product design and appearance

Color and finishing

Hardware configuration

Software and firmware

Product functions

Islamic content

Languages and translations

Audio configuration

Accessories

Branding

Packaging

For customized projects, samples are shared for the relevant testing, review and client approval before mass production proceeds.

Using an approved reference helps ensure that production remains aligned with the product that was developed and accepted.

Component & Material Checks

Quality Starts Before Assembly

The reliability of the finished product depends partly on the components from which it is built.

Relevant components and materials are therefore checked before or during their use in production according to the requirements of the individual product.

Depending on the device, these can include:

Electronic components

PCBs, electronic modules

Speakers

Displays

Batteries

Charging components

Buttons and controls

Memory components

Sensors

Plastic and molded parts

Cables and connectors

Product-specific accessories

Components that do not meet the required product specification can be identified before they become part of the finished unit.

This helps reduce problems later in assembly and functional testing.

In-Process Quality Control

Checking Quality While the Product Is Being Built

Quality control continues during product assembly rather than being left entirely to final inspection.

In-process checks can evaluate whether the different physical and electronic elements of the device have been assembled and integrated correctly.

Depending on the product, this may include checking:

Component placement

PCB installation

Internal connections

Buttons and controls

Displays

Speakers

Charging and power components

Product enclosure and fitment

Assembly quality

Product-specific electronic functions

Identifying issues during assembly allows them to be addressed before the product progresses through additional production stages.

Software & Firmware Verification

Making Sure the Product Operates as Intended

For many Qari Technologies products, correct hardware assembly is only one part of quality control.

The software and firmware installed in the device must also correspond to the approved product configuration.

Checks may therefore include:

Correct software or firmware version

Product startup and operation

Feature availability

Menu and navigation functions

Button and control behavior

Language functions

Reciter selection

Display functions

Audio commands

Product-specific programmed features

Compatibility between firmware and loaded content

This becomes particularly important in customized products, where different customers may require different firmware, languages, functions or content configurations even when the physical product platform is similar.

Audio & Content Testing

Correct Content. Correct Playback.

Islamic content represents another important layer of product quality.

Qur’anic text and audio are subject to the dedicated content accuracy and verification process, including internal and third-party verification before production. Other Islamic content is reviewed through the appropriate scholars, publishers or content specialists, while audio is also checked for pronunciation and content quality.

Quality assurance during production then focuses on ensuring that this approved content has been correctly integrated into the product.

Depending on the device, checks may include:

Correct Qur’anic recitation

Correct reciter selection

Translation selection

Content organization

Audio-file mapping

Playback sequence

Language selection

Duas and Adhkar

Learning content

Menu-to-content correspondence

Audio clarity

Speaker output

This distinction is important: content verification establishes that the source content is correct; production quality control confirms that the finished device accesses and plays that approved content correctly.

Functional Product Testing

Testing the Complete Device

Once the product has been assembled and programmed, its relevant functions are tested as a complete system.

Testing varies according to the product category and approved specification.

Depending on the device, functional checks can cover:

Power on/off

Charging

Battery operation

Audio playback

Speaker performance

Volume controls

Display functions

Buttons and controls

Memory functions

Language selection

Reciter selection

Lighting functions

Remote-control operation

Product connectivity

Sensors

Accessories

Interactive learning functions

Other product-specific features

A Qur’an speaker, Pen Qur’an, Digital Adhan Clock, Islamic learning toy and multimedia Qur’an device each require different combinations of testing.

Our quality-control process therefore follows the actual functionality of the individual product rather than relying on one generic test for every device.

Pen Qur’an Functional Testing

Verifying the Connection Between Pen, Print & Audio

Pen Qur’an products require additional testing because several different elements must operate together correctly.

The electronic reading pen must recognize the coded printed material and retrieve the corresponding digital content when a particular verse, word or designated area is selected.

Testing can therefore include interaction between:

Reading pen

Printed Qur’an or learning material

Pen-readable coding

Qur’anic audio

Translations

Supporting learning content

Firmware

Product controls

For customized publisher projects, the approved digitally printed sample and configured Pen Qur’an provide an important reference before commercial production.

This helps verify that the complete printed and electronic system works together as intended.

Audio & Sound Quality

Clear Delivery Matters

Because audio is fundamental to many Qari Technologies products, sound performance forms an important part of product testing.

Depending on the device, testing may assess:

Speaker operation

Audio clarity

Volume

Playback quality

Distortion or abnormal sound

Audio consistency

Correct output from selected functions

This is particularly relevant for products designed around Qur’anic recitation and Islamic audio learning, where clear and intelligible playback directly affects the user experience.

Appearance & Finishing Inspection

Quality Should Be Visible Too

Functional performance must be accompanied by acceptable physical finishing.

Visual inspection can evaluate relevant aspects of the finished product, including:

Product appearance

Surface finishing

Molded components

Color consistency

Fit and alignment

Buttons and controls

Printed markings

Logos and branding

Labels

Visible defects

General assembly condition

For private-label products, this also helps confirm that the customer's approved branding and physical configuration have been correctly implemented.

Packaging Quality Control

Checking the Complete Product Before Packing

A commercially ready product includes more than the electronic device itself.

Before final packing, the product and its required accessories are checked against the approved configuration.

Depending on the model, this can include:

Main product

Charger or adapter

USB cable

Earphones

Remote control

Printed Qur’an or learning books

User manual

Accessories

Product inserts

Labels

Private-label materials

Packaging is also checked for the correct branding, product identification and package completeness.

For customized projects, final packing follows the approved customer packaging and accessory requirements.

Final & Pre-Shipment Inspection

One Final Check Before Release

Before products are prepared for shipment, final inspection provides an additional opportunity to confirm that production corresponds with the approved requirements.

The inspection can cover relevant areas such as:

Product appearance

Quantity

Functionality

Software and firmware

Audio and content functions

Accessories

Packaging

Labels and branding

Carton markings

Client-specific requirements

Overall shipment readiness

For OEM, ODM and private-label orders, customers may also inspect goods before shipment directly or appoint an independent third-party inspector.

This provides business partners with an additional option for verifying their order before shipment.

Independent Testing & Inspection

Additional Verification Where Required

Depending on the product, market or customer requirement, third-party testing or inspection can also form part of the quality-assurance process.

Independent inspection may be arranged for customized commercial orders where a customer requires an additional external review before shipment.

The scope depends on the relevant project and can include physical product checks, functionality, quantities, packaging, branding and other agreed requirements.

This provides an additional layer of verification without replacing the quality-control activities carried out during production.

Quality Assurance for OEM, ODM & Private Label

Your Specification Becomes Our Production Reference

Customized products introduce an additional level of quality-control responsibility because each project may have its own hardware, software, content, branding and packaging requirements.

For OEM, ODM and private-label production, checks can therefore extend across:

Approved product sample

Customized physical design

Colors and finishing

Electronics

Software and firmware

Languages

Reciters

Islamic content

Printed-material compatibility

Branding

Accessories

Packaging

Client-specific functions

This ensures that quality is evaluated not only against the standard product platform but also against the individual requirements approved for the customer’s project.

Continuous Product Improvement

Quality Does Not End With One Production Run

Quality assurance also contributes to the continuing development of Qari Technologies products.

Feedback from production, testing, distributors, business partners and after-sales support can help identify opportunities to refine product design, components, firmware, functionality, content integration or manufacturing processes.

This feedback can then be considered during future production or product-development cycles.

For products that continue through multiple generations—such as the Qari Technologies Pen Qur’an range—this process supports ongoing refinement as technology and user requirements evolve.

Responsible Component Sourcing

Qari Technologies sources components such as batteries, PCBs, displays, speakers, charging parts and other electronic items from reputed and established suppliers.

Certified Components:

All components, including batteries and other electronic parts used in Qari Technologies products, are supported by the necessary certificates and technical documentation applicable to their respective categories.

Technical Compatibility:

Components are reviewed for voltage, capacity, dimensions, performance, compatibility and integration with the product’s PCB, housing, software and firmware.

Sample Evaluation:

Components are tested during sample development before they are approved for mass production.

Battery Sourcing:

Batteries are sourced from reputed suppliers with the appropriate supporting documentation for their product category. Battery selection considers capacity, voltage, size, charging requirements and compatibility with the finished product.

Quality Across Hardware, Technology & Content

Qari Technologies develops products in which electronics, software, firmware and Islamic content are closely connected. Our approach to quality assurance reflects that reality.

A product must be properly assembled.

Its electronics must function correctly.

Its software and firmware must perform as intended.

Its approved content must be mapped and delivered correctly.

Its appearance, accessories and packaging must meet the required specification.

By applying quality-control checks across these different layers, Qari Technologies works to ensure that the final product reflects the design and purpose for which it was developed.

Because quality in Islamic technology is not defined by one inspection—it is built through every stage of the product.
